i tend to fall in love with families that i photograph.
it's an occupational hazard i suppose.
and i hope that they fall in love with what i've captured.
that it reflects back to them
the goodness and beauty they hold.
but this one below
got to me in a unique way.
i had been thinking about photos i would want to have
of my own childhood.
and i saw this one.
and i choked up.
it's the thrill of being chased
by one who loves you deeply.
it's wanting to be caught.
to be held.
to laugh and laugh and laugh.
it's a moment of joy.
(may we have eyes to see.)
